Research
Soils and Crops Extension is an extremely important mission of the Department. Extension Specialists translate research results into practical recommendations through the county extension offices for farmers, ranchers, agribusiness professionals, and others for use in their short- and long-range planning and operations.

The Department of Soil and Crop Sciences

agricultural industry; some are extension
functions and some are analysis functions.

student training and research facilities.
