Soil and Crop Sciences
Soil and Crop Sciences extension and outreach programs include agriculture, environmental, and development issues.
Soils and Crops Extension is an extremely important mission of the Department. Extension Specialists translate research results into practical recommendations through the county extension offices for farmers, ranchers, agribusiness professionals, and others for use in their short- and long-range planning and operations.
*Colorado is experiencing another extremely dry cropping season. Past issues of Agronomy News, April 2003, offer advice about managing crops in dry years.
