Research Interests

My research interests lie in the field of plant breeding and genetics in wheat. Specifically:

  • Investigate the physiological responses of wheat to drought and heat (terminal stress).
  • Investigate the wheat genetic basis of tolerance to the main abiotic stresses that constraint crop performance in Colorado State.
  • Develop molecular and physiological tools to increase the efficiency in selection.
